Centre approves additional grant of Rs 1131 crore for Narmada project, Gujarat govt thanks the PM

Gandhinagar: The government of India has approved additional grant of Rs 1131 crore for Sardar Sarovar Narmada project of Gujarat.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel the central government had under AIBP and CADWM programmes given Rs 970 crore grant to the government of Gujarat. On March 16th this year, the Centre has allocated additional Rs 1131 crore grant for Narmada project.
Patel said the Narmada project will be completed in year 2019. He said the Centre is helping Gujarat for completion of Narmada project in all ways.
Patel conveyed his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
