Bharuch: First trial run of RoPax vessel – Voyage Symphony from Ghogha to Dahej and docking at Dahej Terminal has been successful. Commercial services will be started shortly, tweeted Gujarat Maritime Board CEO Mukesh Kumar(IAS).

The service was to be launched on 12 October and Chief Minister had made related announcement too in a public function but due to last minute breach in holder of pontoon at Dahej, the programme had to be postponed. Later union minister of state Mandukh Mandavia had also claimed that there were some dredging related issues at Ghogha port due to monsoon currents. Once launched, the RoPax service will be the first of its kind in entire India.
