New Delhi: A meeting of all elected member of parliaments from Gujarat was held at Gujarat Bhavan in Delhi last evening. Among other MPs, ministers Smriti Irani, Parshottam Rupala, Mansukh Mandaviya and Haribhai Chaudhary were also present in this meeting.
The meeting was chaired and addressed by party president Amit Shah who also is Rajya Sabha member elected from Gujarat. National organizational general secretary of party Ram Lal was also present in this meeting.
MoS Mansukh Madnavia in his briefing after the meeting said, ‘today’s meeting was held in presence of Amit Shah and Ram Lalji and members of parliament elected from Gujarat. MPs were given guidance on election planning to win all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat. On the basis of guidance given, we will execute the progammes given by party. Through such Organizational programmes, party workers and MPs will do mass public contact. As many as 22.5 crore people across the country are benefitted by one or other scheme launched during 4.5 years of our pro-people, pro-poor government in power. Beneficiaries of these schemes are to be contacted directly in order to expand party’s support base. Through oranization, booth sampark, beneficiaries sampark, meetings of party cadres and mass pubic outreach campaign will be held.’
It’s worth noting that organizationally, BJP is much ahead of Congress in preparations of Lok Sabha election. Just a day before a meeting was held at state party headquarters Kamalam in Gandhinagar for Vistarak (full timer party workers visiting and camping in weak areas for party ahead of and during the election period) programme.
