Heat wave vanishes with drop in temperatures caused by change in wind direction, Ahmedabad hottest at 43.2°C

Ahmedabad: With the change in wind direction temperatures saw considerable downward turn at various places in Gujarat with no heat-wave anywhere across the state today.
Ahmedabad at 43.2 °C, almost 2 notches above normal, remained the hottest place in the state.
Now instead of dry and hot North and Northeasterly winds, humid south westerly to westerly winds are prevailing in the state which would further bring down the temperatures by 2 to 3 °C in next couple of days.
The met has not issued any heat wave warning for the coming four days.
