Gandhinagar will also be under partial lockdown: Gujarat govt.

Gandhinagar: In addition to four major cities of Gujarat, state capital town Gandhinagar will also be under partial lock down with only essential services allowed to remain open. The decision has been taken after more confirmed coronavirus positive cases are detected in capital town. Dy CM Nitin Patel told media persons that a meeting was held by union health ministry officials with state health secretaries. One of instructions given in this meeting was that, the areas where coronavirus positive cases are found need to be lock down or partially lock down barring essential services. It is because of this instruction, the State government has taken a decision to implement partial shutdown in Gandhinagar.
