Tata Motors delivers 10 Nexon EVs to Gujarat govt for Statue of Unity fame Kevadiya

Kevadiya: Tata Motors today said it has delivered 10 Nexon Electric Vehicles to the Government of Gujarat on 15th August 2021 to support the government’s motive of clean and green environment.
Tata Motors handed over 10 Nexon EVs for the use by senior Government officials of the Government of Gujarat associated with the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya as part of its tender agreement with EESL (Energy Efficiency Service limited). Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries & Mines Department) & MD of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam remained present in the handover ceremony.
Kevadiya is soon to become India’s first e-vehicle only area. Tata Nexon EV is an EV (electric vehicle) car equipped with 129 PS permanent magnet AC motor, powered by a 30.2 kWh lithium-iron battery. It offers 35 mobile-app based connected features ranging from remote commands, vehicle tracking to driving behaviour analytics, navigation and remote diagnostics.
