Two convicts of Ahmedabad serial blast case ask Judge to embrace Islam

Ahmedabad: Two out of the 49 convicts of Ahmedabad serial blast case of year 2008, invited the judge and other prosecutors to embrace Islam, when the judge asked them what they had to say on the aspect of sentencing.

The convicts namely Qamruddin Nagori from Bhopal and Hafizuddin Tajuddin invited the judge and other prosecutors to embrace Islam for the purpose of salvation, for their life here and hereafter.

Another convict Shibli alias Sabit Abdul Karim said that what happened was Allah’s will. A convict Abu Bashar refused to ask for mercy and he said that he will say to Allah what he had to say and added, “I don’t believe in you and your law.” Another convict Mohammad Akbar said that their offense is that they are Muslims.
