Gujarat govt forms committee over incident of chemical misuse

Gandhinagar: The state government has formed a committee to inquire into the reasons of the incident of chemical misuse in Botad, Barwala and and Dhandhuka talukas.
Total 28 persons in rural Botad and Ahmedabad district have been dead after consuming stolen Methyl Alcohol chemical – which was only for industrial use – mixed with water.
The committee consists of three persons including a chairperson and two members. The committee is required to submit a detailed report within 3 days to the state government. DeshGujarat
