Union ministers, central leaders of BJP in Gujarat this weekend

Gandhinagar: There are lot of movements of BJP leaders in poll-bound Gujarat this weekend.

Union Agriculture minister Tomar was at Junagadh in Gujarat today to open the office of Coconut Board.

Another union minister Piyush Goyal also arrived in Gujarat. He is on two days visit to Junagadh and Gir Somnath districts. He is going to visit Ambaji Mandir atop Girnar hill. He also visited Somnath mandir today. Goyal is scheduled to interact with local traders and farmers. He attended Core Committee meeting of Junagadh Lok Sabha at APMC Veraval. Goyal also attended tiffin meeting of Mahila morcha leaders, local leaders and cadres at Bhalka tirth. His meetings with district office bearers, taluka presidents and general secretaries, morcha office bearers, district cell coordinators, exporters, govt scheme beneficiaries, IT cell and social media cadres, saints and community leaders are also scheduled. He is also scheduled to visit some fisheries units. Goyal had earlier visited Patan district in North Gujarat and held similar meetings.

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya is visiting State Youth Morcha’s executive meeting at Rajkot. Surya is national president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).

Union Home minister Amit Shah is going to visit his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency areas in Ahmedabad on Sunday. He is going to inaugurate four smart schools of Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC) among other engagements. Shah was on visit to Gandhinagar on last Sunday as well.

Union External Affairs minister S. Jaishankar is visiting Ahmedabad for his Gujarati book release on Sunday.

Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil will be in Bhavnagar during the weekend as part of his one-day one-district tour. There are number of programmes arranged during his visit including a bike rally, page committee sammelan, meeting with local party organization, leading local citizens and more.

Gujarat is going to witness general election of State assembly in December this year. DeshGujarat
