Palanpur to get underground power lines; UGVCL to spend Rs. 25 crore

Palanpur: The district headquarters town Palanpur in North Gujarat will get freedom from overhead power poles as the government has approved Rs. 25 crore works for laying of underground lines for power connections. According to minister of State Mukeshbhai Patel, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on 9 October gift Palanpur city with the project of underground power lines for which the Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL) will spend Rs. 25 crore. Patel was speaking in a meeting held regarding various issues pertaining to UGVCL. He said all farmers will get agriculture power connections by December this year. DeshGujarat
