PM Modi to launch projects worth Rs 2083 crore in Tapi, Narmada and Surat

Gandhinagar: PM Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stones of development works of Rs 2083 crore in Tapi, Narmada and Surat districts.
On 20th October, the foundation stone of the work under four schemes of the water supply department of Rs 302 crore in Narmada and Tapi districts will be laid. The foundation stone laying of 6 works and launch of 5 works of solar power project and substation of the energy & petrochemicals department in Surat and Tapi districts will take place. The first phase of the road connecting Saputara with the Statue of Unity will be started. The entire work of the road will be completed at a cost of Rs 1669 crore.
The road is 237 km long. The work of 92 kms length will be done in the first phase. The tourist will be able to reach the Statue of Unity via tourist places namely Saputara, Shabri Dham, Ukai dam, Devmogra, Zarvani fall.
