President appoints Ashwini Vaishnaw as 1st chancellor of Gati Shakti University

New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as the first chancellor and Dr Manoj Chaudhary as the first vice chancellor of Gati Shakti University in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Gati Shakti University is headed by the Ministry of Railways of the central government. President Droupadi Murmu appointed Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as the first chancellor of the university on Wednesday. Dr Manoj Chaudhary is appointed as the first vice chancellor of Gati Shakti University.
Dr Manoj Chaudhary, is a professor of the electrical engineering branch and international alumni and corporate relations dean at IIT Jodhpur. He is an invited member of the 6G task force of the telecom department of the government. He is a member of the management council of the semi-conductor laboratory in the Ministry of electronics and IT in the central government. He is the director of Jodhpur Discom bord.
