Ahmedabad: There is an increase in the cases of fever, common cold and cough cases in Ahmedabad civil hospital, informed Civil Hospital Ahmedabad Superintendent Dr Rakesh Joshi.

A total of 74 thousand patients came to OPD at the civil hospital within the last 20 days. There is an increase in the cases of fever, cough and common cold among them. Civil Hospital Ahmedabad Superintendent Dr Rakesh Joshi said, “74 thousand patients availed OPD facility within 20 days. On average 4 thousand patients visit OPD. There is control in the cases of mosquito-borne and waterborne diseases. Though, there is definitely an increase in viral cases and patients with cold, fevers and cough due to the double season. The breathing-related diseases increase in the double season. If you have symptoms, then get treatment after consulting a doctor as soon as possible.” DeshGujarat
