Savarkundla: Muslim women were presenting themselves as Hindu women and cheating the Hindu youths, the local police in Savarkundla have revealed after investigation.

Savarkundla Police have nabbed a gang operating in Gujarat that would cheat the youths who are finding brides for weddings. Sejal who had married a boy in rural Savarkundla and then fled with money was actually a Muslim woman namely Muskan and she was already married and had a child. She had taken divorce. Her third marriage for cheating on another boy was also decided. Her mother who identified Hindu family herself as Geeta was actually a Muslim woman namely Parveen.

Geeta would use Hindu words such as Jeshikrashna and others to cheat the Hindu family by concealing her identity. Another woman of this gang would use the Hindu name Kajal to identify herself, but a Police investigation revealed that she was a Muslim and her actual name was Tahera. All the gang members are from other states and a broker who would connect them to single youths in Gujarat has been identified as one Kishor mistry.
