Locals in Limkheda observe strike against alleged illegal activities amid increased influx of migrant Muslims

Dahod: Like many other towns and cities across Gujarat, Muslims are settling in large numbers these days in Gujarat from other States and even neighboring country Bangladesh. The local Hindus of Limkheda in Dahod observed a strike and held a rally in protest of alleged illegal activities by migrant Muslims from other states living in the village.
Gram Raksha Samiti Limkheda called for a strike in the village and presented a memorandum to the authorities on Monday, July 31st.
They alleged that a large number of Muslims from out-of-state have migrated to Limkheda within the last 2 years. They run businesses in the village and are involved in activities like love jihad, they claimed. Previously, the Muslim population in Limkheda was limited to 5 to 7 houses, but now many unknown Muslims have started residing in the village. There is no evidence to prove that they are local residents.
The organizers of the rally also pointed out that year 2022 Godhra train carnage accused was on run after getting parole, when he was nabbed, it came to light that he was sheltered in Limkheda. The local Hindus also alleged that mosque and madrasa types of activities are taking place in private properties in the town.
The allegations voiced by the organizers of the rally and a day-long strike include their involvement in illegal, unethical, and anti-national activities. DeshGujarat
