Vadodara: Pinkyben Soni has become a new Mayor of Vadodara city. Chirag Barot has been elected as her deputy. Shital Mistry has been appointed as Chairman of the Standing Committee of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).

With this Pinky Soni has become the fourth woman Mayor of the city. The names of new office bearers were announced by the city BJP incharge Gordhan Zadafia. The names were decided by ruling BJP’s state parliamentary board in a series of meetings in Gandhinagar last week.

The new office bearers shall be on these posts for two and half years after the previous term of elected office bearers ended. DeshGujarat
