Surat Police busts racket of infiltration of Bangladeshis via West Bengal border

Surat: Surat Police have nabbed 7 Bangladeshi intruders and busted a network of illegal infiltration in India, by arresting the main agent who handled border crossing of 3 women and 4 men among others by charging Rs. 90,000 per person. Police have recovered fake identity documents also. The main accused would mainly bring women from Bangladesh to India for prostitution. He would also bring men for want of money. Police have declared one more accused in this case as wanted. The wanted accused is from Ahmedabad and he was into making of illegal documents for Bangladeshis.
Special Operation Group (SOG) of Surat Police had received information that persons were bring brought to India from Bangladesh illegally, and some of such persons were living in Palsana area of Surat. Police arrested 3 women and 2 men based on this information. After questioning of them, police got the lead of the main agent who would plot and execute illegal infiltration. He was Ibrahim Raj Tobimar Sheikh. He was nabbed from Udhna area based Choksi apartment. He had got Bangladeshis to cross border illegally through Satkhira area in West Bengal.
Ibrahim alias Raj during questioning told police that he would bring Bangladeshi women to India for prostitution. Ibrahim is from Peroli village of Bangladesh. He would identify poor and need people and bring them to India.
Another accused, Ahmedabad’s Nobalnagar based Shahid Khan Mustufa Khan would make fake identification of intruders as Indian citizens. He is on run before Surat police could nab him. Police has declared him as wanted in this case. DeshGujarat
