PM Modi to attend an event marking 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat summits at Science City on Sept 27

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to his home state of Gujarat is likely to undergo a partial change once again. Initially, he was expected to address a public meeting in Bodeli, Chhota Udepur, on Wednesday, September 27, and then participate in the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) at Tagore Hall in Ahmedabad the following day on September 28th. However, it has now been learned that he might arrive in Gujarat on the evening of September 26 and is likely to participate in the VGGS program planned at Science City in Ahmedabad, marking the 20th year of VGGS on September 27th. Later, he will go to Bodeli for the public event the same day.

It is noteworthy that the public event in Bodeli was originally scheduled for October 2, but on Wednesday, it was announced that the event would be held on September 27.

On the other hand, the Gujarat government had also scheduled a ‘Summit of Success’ on September 28 at Tagore Hall, where the first Vibrant Gujarat Summit was held in Ahmedabad, commemorating two decades of VGGS. However, now it appears that this event may be shifted to September 27 at Science City, Ahmedabad, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. While changing the venue for this program, it has been reported that Mines and Minerals Commissioner Dhaval Patel and Additional Commissioner for Industries Kuldeep Arya inspected Science City on Thursday evening.
