Latest monsoon forecast for Gujarat: Heavy rains predicted today in some places

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in some parts of Gujarat on September 26th in its latest forecast. However, the majority of areas in the state are expected to experience only light to moderate rains from September 27th to 29th. On September 30th and October 1st, parts of Gujarat may receive only light rains.
On September 26th, heavy rains are highly likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat, namely Surat, Junagadh, Amreli, and Gir Somnath.
Light to moderate rain is anticipated in the following districts: Somnath, Amreli, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Botad, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman Diu. All other districts are expected to remain dry.
On September 27th, light to moderate rain is expected in the districts of Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman Diu. All other districts are likely to remain dry.
On September 28th and 29th, light to moderate rain is predicted in the districts of Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman Diu.
On September 30th and October 1st, only light rains are expected at isolated places in districts including Amreli, Gir Somnath, Tapi, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman Diu. DeshGujarat
