PM Modi performs pooja and aarti at Ambaji

Banaskantha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his two-day visit to his home state of Gujarat today with a visit to the Ambaji Temple on Gabbar hill. The temple, situated in North Gujarat, is one of the revered Shaktipeeths of Maa Durga.
PM Modi’s journey commenced as he arrived in Ahmedabad in the morning, where he was received by the Governor of Gujarat, the Chief Minister, and other officials at Ahmedabad Airport. From there, he took a helicopter to reach Chikhla, a village near Ambaji.
From there as the Prime Minister’s motorcade made its way toward the temple town of Ambaji, a large crowd had gathered on both sides of the road to catch a glimpse of him.
Upon his arrival, Modi received a warm welcome from local leaders and priests, and he performed a pooja of Ma Amba, followed by an Aarti at the temple. The priest of the temple presented PM Modi with a ‘mata ki chunri’ as prasad after the pooja was completed. Prime Minister spent roughly around half an hour at the Ambaji Mandir.
Following his visit to Ambaji, Modi proceeded to Dabhoda village in Kheralu taluka of Mehsana for a public event, where he launched various development projects totaling Rs 5,950 crore and addressed a gathering.
These projects span various government departments, including the Indian Railways, Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (GRIDE), state water resource and water supply departments, roads and buildings, and the urban development departments, as indicated by an official government statement.
On the upcoming second day of his trip, which is tomorrow (October 31st), at approximately 8 AM, he is scheduled to pay his respects at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, followed by the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. He will additionally inaugurate several projects and lay the foundation stone for them. Subsequently, around 11:15 AM, he will deliver a speech to the Officer Trainees participating in the 98th Common Foundation Course as part of Aarambh 5.0. DeshGujarat
