Surat: Thanks to the stringent GUJCTOCK law, Surat Police has averted many crimes that could take place by various gangs, such as Ashraf Nagori gang, Asif Tameta gang, Altaf Patel-Vipul Gajipara gang, Mindi gang, Lalu Jalim gang, Sajju Kothari gang etc gangs.

In last three years, the city police has sent 12 gangs behind bars under GUJCTOK.

Some more gangs are likely to face stringent actions in future by city police. Among them one is Karim China Golden Gang which operates in Rustampura police chowky and Akbar Saeed Tekra areas, Chirag Bharwad gang which is active in Godadara, Dindoli, Puna area, Mahetab Bhaiya Gang which is active in Rampura belt, Hashim Siddiki gang which is active in Limbayat, Godadara areas, Majnu Pachchis gang which is active in Udhna, Dindoli, Godadara and Puna areas and Mamu Hansoti Gang active in Chokbajar.
