SpiceJet to operate Ahmedabad – Ayodhya direct flights from Feb 1 to Mar 30

Ahmedabad: The devotees of Lord Ram from Gujarat will have one more option of traveling to the temple town of Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir, as SpiceJet will be initiating a direct flight service. The SpiceJet flight will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, between Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad and Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham, starting from February 1st, 2024.
The flights will take off at 6 am from SVPI Airport and land in Ayodhya at 8 am. For the return journey, the flight will depart from Ayodhya Airport at 12:30 pm and land in Ahmedabad at 2:25 pm. As of today, the fare for a single journey between the two cities, as per the SpiceJet website, is around ₹4500.
According to the latest information available on the SpiceJet website, the service is scheduled to run from February 1 to March 30 for now, offering a convenient travel option for devotees planning to visit Ayodhya.
It is noteworthy that IndiGo was the first air carrier to announce a flight between the two cities. The IndiGo flight between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya has already commenced operations on a tri-weekly basis since January 11th. DeshGujarat
