PM Modi in Dwarka on 24-25 Feb; To visit Jagat Mandir, Inaugurate Okha – Bet Dwarka Bridge

Dwarka: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the temple town of Dwarka on the 24th and 25th of February. His program here includes an overnight stay at Dwarka Circuit House on the 24th. On the 25th, he will inaugurate Okha – Bet Dwarka signature bridge after visiting the Jagat Mandir of Lord Dwarkadhish. The Gujarat state government and Devbhoomi Dwarka district administration have initiated preparations for the Prime Minister’s program.

A meeting in this regard was held at the Dwarka Circuit House on Friday evening with Devbhoomi Dwarka District Collector G.T. Pandya, local officials, Dwarka Provincial Officer Bhagora, Municipal Chief Officer Nishit Uday, Dy.S.P. Parmar, MLA Pabubha Manek, Dwarka’s hotel association, trade associations, and NGOs.

During this meeting, Collector Pandya stated that on February 24, Prime Minister Modi will stay overnight in Dwarka. The PM will inaugurate the Okha – Bet Dwarka Signature Bridge and other tourist facilities on the land of Lord Shri Krishna, he added, urging that the entire program be celebrated as a grand festival.

Providing details about the Prime Minister’s program, the Collector mentioned that he will have darshan of Dwarkadhish and address a large gathering in the spacious grounds of NDH High School at Dwarka. Preparations for illuminating important places, including state government offices, municipalities, hotel associations, trade associations, Dwarka taluka offices, public roads, entrance gates, and temples of Dwarkadhish in Dwarka and Bet Dwarka, have commenced. The meeting appealed to decorate every institution. Additionally, all properties, markets, residences, etc., in Dwarka and Bet Dwarka, will be adorned with lighting decorations.

Officials from the Gujarat State Road and Building Department and Tourism Department, along with many state officials, are coming to Dwarka to ensure the smooth arrangement of the program. A drive to relocate stray cattle in Dwarka city will be launched from tomorrow. A special cleaning campaign will also be conducted, especially in Dwarka city, with cleaners coming from outside. Keeping the Prime Minister’s visit in mind, security-oriented preparations will be initiated under the guidance of District Police Chief Nitesh Kumar Pandey and State Police Chief for law and security. MLA Pabubha Manek has appealed to the people to light lamps from house to house on the 24th, from Dwarka to Okha Mithapur Surjakaradi Arambhada and Bet Dwarka in Dwarka Kshetra. Dwarka City BJP President Vijaybhai Bujad is also planning to call a special meeting of office bearers, members, and ex-members of the city organization. DeshGujarat
