Kshatriyas to hold Mahasammelan in Rajkot on April 13th
April 10, 2024
Rajkot: Amidst the ongoing protests against the remarks made by Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, a meeting of the Rajput Coordination Committee of the Kshatriya Community was convened today. Following the meeting, the leader of the coordination committee, Ramjubha Jadeja, announced that the Gujarat Kshatriya Asmita Sammelan will be held in Rajkot on the upcoming Sunday, i.e., April 14, from 5 pm to 7 pm. It is anticipated that thousands of Kshatriyas will attend the event, and an invitation will be extended to Jam Saheb.
The venue for the convention will be in front of the Ram Mandir near Ratanpar village on the Rajkot-Morbi road. There is a growing demand for the cancellation of Rupala’s candidature from Rajkot Lok Sabha seat by Kshatriyas. Notably, significant conventions are also being held in Patan, Mundra, and Dhangdhra today. Previously, a convention took place in Dhandhuka, and district-wise conventions have been organized.
Regarding the letter from Jam Sahib of Jamnagar, Ramjubha Jadeja stated that the coordination committee will deliberate on Jam Sahib’s statement, and they will try to meet him. The purpose of the coordination committee is clear, and Jam Sahib holds a special place in their hearts. They intend to meet him at the appropriate time. Rupala must demonstrate remorse, and the Rajput society of Gujarat will make the decision. The demand for the cancellation of tickets is for the betterment of society, and it is not driven by political or personal reasons. The sentiments of the entire society have been deeply affected, the committee members further stated. DeshGujarat
