Ahemdabad: Chhota Udepur based youth and Ahmedabad’s Vadaj based Hindu girl are booked by Police for fabricating Aadhar card. The youth Rehan Ahmed would use fabricated Aadhar card of girl for getting rooms in various hotels with her.

Police control room on 26 May received a message about brawl at Vastapur based Suba Star hotel. Police reached there and found that the cadres of Bajrang Dal were questioning a Muslim youth and Hindu girl. Police inquired about the identities of the youth and the Hindu girl. As the girl was a local from Ahmedabad, her parents also were called at the hotel. The parents who are originally from Rajasthan, refused to file a complaint.

Later when police checked the Aadhar cards submitted at the hotel for getting room, it was revealed that the photograph on Hindu girl’s Aadhar card was real, but her name and address were fake and she was shown as Muslim girl, wife of Rehan in this fabricated Aadhar card.

During questioning, Police was informed that the youth and the girl were knowing each other for last one year. The girl whose name is after Hindu God, sent her Aadhar card to Rehan via Whatsapp. Rehan used PicsArt mobile application to edit the Aahdar card copy of the girl and created a fabricated Aadhar card, photocopy of which was used for entry at hotel Suba Star. Such photocopy was also used in Ginger hotel in Vadodara in February this year.

As per the details in FIR, accused Rehan Ahmed Abdul Rashid Sheikh is 26 years old and from Masjid Mahaollo in Chhot Udepur. Rehan had changed Ahmedabad basd Hindu Brahmin girl(24)’s Aadhar card through Pics Art app and changed her identity to Sheikh Aminabanu, wife of Sheikh Rehan Ahmed, Jumma masjid road, Chhota Udepur. Such fake Aadhar Card’s photocopy was used to enter the hotel rooms.

Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal, an organization which is into protection of Hindu girls against the menace of ‘Love Jihad’ tweeted: ‘In Karnavati, a Muslim trapped a Hindu girl in the trap of Love Jihad and got a fake Aadhar card made in the name of a Muslim girl and took her to Suba Hotel. The team of Bajrang Dal caught both of them there.’

‘During questioning, it was found that the Muslim boy had earlier also made fake Aadhar cards of 3 Hindu girls and had taken them to this hotel, and the entire staff of Suba Hotel was Muslim. Religious books were found at the place where namaz was offered, this hotel had become a den for love jihadis. Seeing the team of Bajrang Dal, the whole staff( of Suba hotel) ran away from there, Rehan Ahmed has been caught and a complaint has been filed against him and he has been put behind bars.’
