Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to operate two electric air-conditioned city buses on the Sabarmati Riverfront starting from June 5. The buses operated by Amdavad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) will commence their route from Vasna and enter the riverfront from Chandranagar. Subsequently, the bus will travel along the River Drive West road and exit at Vadaj to reach AMTS’s Vadaj bus station. Along the way, the buses will make stops at various locations such as the National Institute of Design (NID), flower park, Vallabh Sadan, and Usmanpura garden. The route will encompass a total of 14 pick-up and drop-off points, covering a 10 km route with an 8 km stretch along the riverfront.
