Flights, helicopter services at Diu Airport suspended; IndiGo Ahmedabad flight also cancelled

Diu: All flight services were canceled today at Nagwa Airport in the Union Territory of Diu due to severe weather conditions. The cancellations affected numerous travelers, including the Ahmedabad-Diu Indigo flight and the Mumbai-Diu Air India service.
Authorities also decided to suspend the Daman-Diu Pawan Hans helicopter service amidst the adverse weather. It is also noteworthy that while flying from Daman to Diu, the Pawan Hans helicopter carrying 4 passengers got stuck in bad weather 10 minutes before landing and was forced to fly back to Daman. All the passengers were safe.
Passengers scheduled to fly in and out of Diu are advised to contact their respective airlines for further updates and alternative arrangements. DeshGujarat
