Increase in MBBS fee in all 13 GMERS run medical colleges of Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society (GMERS) run all 13 medical colleges across Gujarat have increased fees for academic year 2024-25 MBBS course.
The fee for government quota seats shall be Rs. 5.50 lakh, for management quota it shall be Rs. 17 lakh while for NRI quota seats it shall be 25,000 USD annually.
The students who pass MBBS through government quota seats shall need to serve GMERS for one year. If they fail to do so, they will need to pay Rs. 2 lakh.
13 GMERS run medical collages are located at Sola, Gotri, Gandhinagar, Valsad, Dharpur-Patan, Himmatnagar, Junagadh, Vadnagar, Rajpipla-Narmada, Navsari, Porbandar, Godhra-Panchmahal and Morbi.
There are total 2100 seats in these colleges, of which 75 percent government quota seats have 1500 State and 75 all India quota. There are 10% management quota seats numbering total 210. 15% NRI quota seats are total 315. DeshGujarat
