Gandhinagar: Recruitment will be conducted for 244 vacant positions in the fire department, as announced recently by the Gujarat government.

After the Gujarat High Court heavily criticized the administration following the Rajkot TRP Game Zone fire tragedy, the government decided to fill 244 positions in several civic bodies across the state.

The recruitment will take place in 6 civic bodies including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat. The total number of positions in these civic bodies is 672, with 244 currently vacant. The recruitment process will soon commence to fill these posts. DeshGujarat
