Gujarat: The rise of cybercrime through social media has become a growing concern, with reports of fake accounts impersonating well-known personalities. In a recent incident, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi became a victim of this trend when a fake Facebook account was created in his name.

Minister Sanghvi took to his official Facebook and Instagram accounts to alert the public about the fraudulent account. He urged his followers to be vigilant, advising them to report the fake ID if they receive any friend requests or messages from it.

“Want to inform about a concerning issue regarding fake Facebook ID’s that has been created using my name. If you receive messages or friend requests from this fake account, do not engage with it.
