Surat: Violence in the migrant Muslims populated areas of Surat is in news again. On Sunday a so-called journalist working with youtube channel was killed by a group mainly dominated by minor boys. On Tuesday a Muslim builder was killed when he was coming out of Namaz session in the local mosque in Talavdi locality of Sagrampura area.

A 55 years old Mohammad Arif Qureshi is a builder by profession. He is resident of Ranitalav areea. As per the primary details emerging from investigation, the builder was killed by Mohammad Faruk Talloi’s two sons Faiz and Tarbez Talloi at 1.45 pm. The killers came on bike and killed the builder by hitting him with steel pipe and rode.

Faruk Talloi was linked to Arif Mindi gang and Nasir Surti gang in the past. Later he operated his own gang and into extortion activity. He had been in jail in the past in a double murder case.

In another incident, on Sunday a so-called Youtube journalist Zuberkhan Pathan was brutally stabbed to death. Police later arrested one Rehan alias Gora Samir Sheikh, a main suspect. During his questioning the involvement of total 9 persons emerged in this crime. The suspects identified include Faisal alias Taropa alias Bhukha Sheikh Farid Sheikh Hamid(18) and 7 minor Muslim boys. They are all nabbed.
