Ahmedabad: Loco trial of Kavach system has been succesfully completed on the 96 km route connecting Ahmedabad to Vadodara (Automatic signaling) section by Western Railway. On Vadodara – Surat – Virar (automatic signalling) section, 201 km work of Kavach is completed out of total 336 kms. In the case of situation of potential accident, Kavach applies automatic break and control the speed of the train. Kavach also would be helpful for smooth operations of trains in bad weathe conditions. A make in India technology ‘Kavach’ is helping the Indian Railways in achieving zero accident goal. DeshGujarat
