Mehsana: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday nabbed Ravindra Kumar Ishwarbhai Patel, an outsourced Data Entry Operator working in the Mamlatdar Office of Satlasana, in a bribe case involving a sum of ₹50,000.
As per the details of the case, the complainant wanted to buy a piece of land and sought to convert it from new tenure (Navi Sharat) to old tenure (Juni Sharat). The accused demanded a bribe of ₹50,000 in the name of the Mamlatdar and Circle Officer to facilitate this process. The complainant was unwilling to pay the bribe and contacted the ACB. Acting on the complaint, the ACB set up a trap, during which the accused was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe. DeshGujarat
