Akhil Gujarat Sant Sammelan to convene on Aug 14 in solidarity with Hindu minorities in Bangladesh

Ahmedabad: In response to the escalating political turmoil in Bangladesh, which has severely impacted the country’s minority communities, a special session of the Akhil Gujarat Sant Sammelan will be convened in Ahmedabad.

The Sammelan will take place on August 14, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Sri Shakti Convention Centre, located near Vaishnavadevi Circle in the city.

Reports of violence, including massacres, arson, looting, and rape, affecting minorities such as Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, and Christian communities are coming from Bangladesh. The entire Hindu community and Sant Samaj are deeply concerned about these reports. To offer sympathy to the affected communities and to stand against the violence, Dwarka Shardapithadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya has called for the Sammelan.

Organized under the chairmanship of Swamishri Sadananda Saraswatiji Maharaj, the event will feature prominent religious leaders, including Avichaldasji from Sarasa, Muktanandabapu from Champerda, Shernath Bapu from Junagadh, Dilipdasji Maharaj from Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad, Acharya Krishnamaniji from Jamnagar, and Mahamandaleshwar Paramatmanandji from Sivananda Ashram. Representatives from the Vadtal, BAPS, Kalupur, and Chharodi sects will also be present. deshGujarat
