Water level situation of major dams in Gujarat as of 10 AM today

Narmada: With nearly 110% of average monsoon rainfall recorded as of this morning, some major dams in Gujarat are witnessing a good inflow of water. Sardar Sarovar Dam, the state’s largest dam, is 85.36% full with an inflow of over 2.7 lakh cusecs, and downstream discharge from the dam has been reduced to 1.9 lakh cusecs into the river and 18,000 cusecs into the canal.
Ukai, the second-largest dam, is 77.52% full and at 102.17 meters, which is above the rule level of 102.11 meters. Due to this, over 1 lakh cusecs of water is being released downstream into the river from the dam. Kadana Dam is over 90% full and has a discharge of over 30,000 cusecs, while Panam Dam is 93.99% full.
Meanwhile, the largest dam in the Saurashtra region, Shetrunji Dam in Bhavnagar, is 45.03% full. DeshGujarat
