Gujarat govt, UAE ink MoU for food park development
September 10, 2024
New Delhi: The Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company is set to establish food parks in Gujarat, following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the state government in New Delhi on Monday.
The UAE government had initially proposed the food park project during the Vibrant Gujarat summit in January 2024. During the official visit of Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, India and the UAE signed five MoUs. These agreements cover areas such as nuclear power operations, LNG supply, cooperation between ADNOC and India Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited (ISPRL), and a production concession for Abu Dhabi Onshore Block.
