Stray cattle menace: 28-year-old man dies on Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway

Ahmedabad: A 28-year-old man from Borsad, Anand, died on Saturday after a stray cow collided with his motorcycle near Ramnagar Patiya on the Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway. The victim, Mahasagar Gohel, was on his way to work at a hotel when the accident occurred.
His father, Anil Gohel, stated in the FIR that Mahasagar had performed Ashtami aarti at home on Friday before leaving for work in Bhayla late at night. Around 3 a.m., Anil received a call from an unknown person informing him that Mahasagar had been taken to a public hospital in Bavla. When he arrived, he found that his son had already passed away.
The FIR revealed that Mahasagar lost control of his bike when a stray cow crossed his path, leading to a fatal fall. He died on the spot from severe injuries. Bavla police registered a case against the deceased for negligent and rash driving under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act. DeshGujarat
