One driver dead as dumper and truck collide on SG Highway

Ahmedabad: A 30-year-old dumper driver lost his life in an accident that took place early this morning near the YMCA Club on the busy SG Highway in the city.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 AM when a dumper filled with sand collided with the back of a truck that was carrying iron pipes. After the incident, passers-by quickly alerted the police and emergency services. In the collision, the front of the dumper was severely damaged, and the driver of the dumper died in the cabin. The fire department extricated the body of the driver by cutting through the vehicle. The Ahmedabad City Traffic Police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. Traffic police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Regarding the incident, Police Inspector S.A. Gohil stated that the accident occurred near the YMCA Club on SG Highway around 3:30 AM. Preliminary details indicate that the driver died when a dumper loaded with soil collided with the truck full of iron pipes.
