Gandhinagar: Western Railway has announced operations of nine festival special trains to various destinations from/through Gujarat. These trains include 20 trips of Udhna – Bhavnagar weekly special, 2 trips of Udhna – Vadodara – Gaya special, 2 trips of Vapi – Delhi superfast special, 8 trips of Ahmedabad – Danapur weekly special, 6 trips of Ahmedabad – Banaras weekly special, 2 trips of Ahmedabad – Jaynagar special, 2 trips of Vadodara – Gaya special, 10 trips of Sabarmati – Lucknow weekly special and 10 trips of Rajkot – Gorakhpur weekly special. According to Western Railway, these trains are to be run to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season of Diwaly. They shall be operated on special fare.

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of Western Railway, the details of the special trains are as follows:

1.Train No. 09021/09022 Udhna-Bhavnagar Special (Weekly) [20Trips]

Train No. 09021 Udhna – Bhavnagar Special will depart from Udhna every Monday at 22.05 hrs and reach Bhavnagar at 08.45 hrs the next day. This train will run from 28th October, 2024, to 30th December, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 09022 Bhavnagar – Udhna Special will depart from Bhavnagar every Tuesday at 19.00 hrs and reach Udhna at 7.10 hrs, then the next day. This train will run from 29th October, 2024 to 31st December, 2024.

Enroute, this train will halt at Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Gandhigram, Sarkhej, Dholka, Dhandhuka, Botad, Dhola, Songadh, Sihorand Bhavnagar Para stations in both directions.

This train consists of an AC chair car, a sleeper class, a second class sitting, and general second class coaches.

2. Train No. 09011/09012 Udhna – Gaya – Vadodara Special [02Trips]

Train No. 09011 Udhna-Gaya Special will depart from Udhna on Friday, 25th October 2024, at 22.00 hrs and reach Gaya at 07.00 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, Train No. 09012 Gaya-Vadodara Special will depart from Gaya on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, at 10.00 hrs and reach Vadodara at 14.00 hrs the next day.

Enroute, this train will halt at Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, SantHirdaram Nagar, Bina, Damoh, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Chunar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sasaram, and Dehri-On-Sone stations in both directions. Train No. 09011 will have additional halts at Sayan, Bharuch, and Varodara stations.

This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second-Class coaches.

3. Train No. 09003/09004 Vapi – Delhi Superfast Special [02Trips]

Train No. 09003 Vapi-Delhi Superfast Special will depart from Vapi on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 12.55 hrs and reach Delhi at 08.45 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09004 Delhi-Vapi Special will depart from Delhi on Saturday, 26th October 2024, at 11.45 hrs and reach Vapi at 9.30 hrs, then next day.

Enroute, this train will halt at Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Pananpur, Abu Road, Marwar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Dasa, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurgaon stations in both directions.

This train comprises of AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier Coaches.

4. Train No. 09461/09462 Ahmedabad – Danapur Special (Weekly) [08Trips]

Train No. 09461 Ahmedabad-Danapur Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Saturday at 8.25 hrs and reach Danapur at 16.50 hrs, then the next day. This train will run from 26th October 2024 to 16th November 2024. Similarly, Train No. 09462 Danapur-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Danapur every Sunday at 21.55 hrs and reach Ahmedabad at 07.10 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 27th October, 2024, to 17th November, 2024.

Enroute, this train will halt at Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shajapur, Biyavra Rajgarh, Ruthiyai, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Soni, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, and Ara stations in both directions.

This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, AC 3-Tier (Economy), Sleeper Class, and General Second Class Coaches.

5. Train No. 09403/09404 Ahmedabad – Banaras Special (Weekly) [06Trips]

Train No. 09403 Ahmedabad-Banaras Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 22.40 hrs and reach Banaras at 04.05 hrs on Thursday. This train will run from 29th October 2024 to 12th November 2024. Similarly, Train No. 09404 Banaras-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Banaras every Thursday at 07.15 hrs and reach Ahmedabad at 18.00 hrs the next day. This train will run from October 31, 2024, to November 14, 2024.

Enroute, this train will halt at Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sarai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, and Gyanpur Road stations in both directions.

This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, AC 3-Tier (Economy), Sleeper Class, and General Second Class Coaches.

6. Train No. 09467/09468 Ahmedabad – Jaynagar Special [02Trips]

Train No. 09467 Ahmedabad-Jaynagar Special will depart from Ahmedabad on Friday, 25th October 2024, at 16.35 hrs and reach Jaynagar at 07.30 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, Train No. 09468 Jaynagar-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Jaynagar on Sunday, 27th October, 2024, at 10.30 hrs. and reach Ahmedabad at 1.15 hrs. on Tuesday.

Enroute, this train will halt at Nadiad, Chhayapuri, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, SantHirdaram Nagar, Bina, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Patliputra, Hajpur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, and Madhubani stations in both directions.

This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.

7. Train No. 09445/09446 Sabarmati-Lucknow Special (Weekly) [10Trips].

Train No. 09445 Sabarmati-Lucknow Special will depart from Sabarmati every Wednesday at 22.00 hrs and reach Lucknow at 20.50 hrs the next day. This train will run from 30th October, 2024, to 27th November, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 09446 Lucknow-Sabarmati Special will depart from Lucknow every Thursday at 23.50 hrs and reach Sabarmati at 21.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 31st October,202424to 28 to 28th October 2024.

Enroute this train will halt at Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundlaand Kanpur Central station in both directions.

This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.

8. Train No. 09115/09116 Vadodara – Gaya Special [02Trips].

TrainNo.09115 Vadodara-Gaya Special will depart from Vadodara on Tuesday, 29th October 2024, at 00.45 hrs and reach Gaya at 07.00 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09116 Gaya-Vadodara Special will depart from Gaya on Wednesday, 30th October 2024, at 10.00 hrs and reach Vadodara at 14.00 hrs the next day.

Enroute, this train will halt at Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, SantHirdaram Nagar, Bina, Damoh, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Chunar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sasaram, and Dehri-On-Sone stations in both directions.

This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.

9. Train No. 09597/09598 Rajkot – Gorakhpur Special (Weekly) [10Trips].

Train No. 09597 Rajkot-Gorakhpur Special will depart from Rajkot every Wednesday at 15.15 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 21.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 30th October, 2024, to 27th November, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 09598 Gorakhpur-Rajkot Special will depart from Gorakhpur every Thursday at 23.30 hrs and reach Rajkot at 10.00 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 31st October 2024 to 28th November 2024.

Enroute this train will halt at Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Mahesana, Palanpur, AbuRoad, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort,Tundla, Shikohabad, Etawah, Govindpuri, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, and Basti stations in both directions.

This train consists of AC2-tier, AC3-tier, sleeper class, and general second-class coaches.
