ACB Gujarat nabs In-charge Jail Superintendent in bribery case

Dahod: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today arrested Ferozkhan Shamsuddin Malek, the in-charge Jail Superintendent of Subjail Doki in Dahod, in a bribery case involving Rs. 3,000.
The complainant in this case and his brother were arrested for a crime in Dahod. The complainant was granted bail on October 4, while his brother received bail from the Gujarat High Court on October 22. To carry out the bail process for the complainant’s brother from Doki Subjail, the accused, Ferozkhan, demanded a bribe of Rs. 10,000. The complainant initially paid Rs. 7,000, with the remaining amount to be paid later.
However, unwilling to complete the bribe, the complainant contacted the ACB, which set up a trap today. During the operation, the accused was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe. DeshGujarat
