One held with MD drugs at Amirgarh border in Banaskantha

Banaskantha: The local police on Friday arrested one individual from Rajasthan after he was found in possession of MD drugs worth over ₹58 lakh during a routine check at the Amirgarh check post on the Rajasthan-Gujarat border.
During the routine check, the police team inspected a Rajasthan Roadways bus traveling from Jodhpur to Ahmedabad when they noticed a passenger acting suspiciously. A search revealed 584 grams of MD drugs concealed in the individual’s pocket, leading to his immediate arrest. The suspect, identified as Ashraf Khan Anwar Hussain Pathan, hails from Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. He has been booked under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway.
