Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has started facilitating 70 years or older age persons at its 85 Urban Health Centres for issuance of  Ayushyaman card under Vay Vandana scheme of the Central government, so that such senior citizens can get benefits of Vay Vandana yojana under which medical care of upto Rs. 5 lakh per year is offered for free by the Central government at selected private and government hospitals. Any citizen of 70 years or above age, can visit AMC’s Urban Health Centre with his/her Aadhar card and get Ayushyaman scheme’s card for benefits of Vay Vandana scheme. DeshGujarat
