Minimum temperatures drop below 15°C in 4 largest cities of Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Winter has started showing its colors as the cold winds can be felt at night, and the mercury in cities across Gujarat is dropping. The four largest cities of Gujarat, namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot, all recorded minimum temperatures below 15°C. Among these, Vadodara was the coldest with 11°C, followed by Rajkot at 11.8°C, while the mercury stood at 13.9°C in Ahmedabad and 14.4°C in Surat.

However, some cities recorded temperatures below 10°C, including Dahod, Naliya, and Narmada. Narmada was the coldest with a minimum temperature of 7.2°C.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department’s latest daily weather report, the only place in Gujarat with a minimum temperature above 20°C is Okha in coastal Saurashtra. DeshGujarat
