Ahmedabad: A luxury Mercedes-Benz worth ₹50 lakh, owned by a property broker from Prahladnagar, was reported missing from the basement parking of his apartment complex.

As per the complaint filed by Mahesh Chunara, 39, a resident of Iris Exotica flats on Corporate Road, at Anandnagar police station on Thursday, the car was last used on December 3 and was noticed missing on the morning of December 6. Chunara reported that the car was parked in its designated slot until midnight on December 5.

According to the FIR, Chunara purchased the Mercedes in December 2019, making a ₹12 lakh down payment. The car loan was in the name of his friend Vishal Gala’s wife, Neha Gala, but Chunara was the sole user of the vehicle.

Chunara stated that he parked the car on December 3. When he went to the parking lot at 9:30 AM on December 6, the car was missing. Despite searching the area with his wife, they could not locate it. Anandnagar police have launched an investigation into the incident. DeshGujarat
