Khambhalia: Around four miscreants from the Muslim community allegedly attacked devotees who were celebrating and bursting crackers at Shri Nath Ji Haveli in Khambhalia. The attack left two people gravely injured.

One of the injured persons told the media persons at the hospital, “We were celebrating in the Haveli and bursting crackers when four Muslim youths came and told us to stop. They started abusing us, God, and the Haveli. When we asked them not to abuse, they told us, ‘You will not burst crackers here. If you do, we will lock the Haveli and kill you.’ Then, they attacked me, my wife, and others. I request the government to take legal action against these four miscreants, including Maqsoodbhai, Moienbhai, and Toshif.”

The man suffered fractures in his leg and arms, along with an injury to the chest area. In the aftermath of the attack, tight police security has been deployed at Shrinathji’s Haveli. DeshGujarat
