The Pahalgam attack, which targeted Hindu tourists in the Baisaran Valley and resulted in the loss of 26 lives, has sent shockwaves across the nation.
Among the deceased was a father-son duo from Bhavnagar who had gone to Jammu & Kashmir to attend the Ram Katha. Yatish Parmar, his teenage son Smit Parmar, and his wife Kajal, residents of Gali Number 7 in Kaliyabid’s Nandanvan Society, had traveled with around 20 people from Bhavnagar for the Ram Katha event. On the day of the attack, the group had gone sightseeing in Pahalgam when terrorists opened fire. Only Kajal survived. Yatish & Smit’s dead bodies reached Ahmedabad airport late Wednesday evening.
