The birthdays of these African newborn penguins were celebrated at Gujarat Science City.
African penguins are native to Namibia and the coastal regions of South Africa. They are listed as a near-extinction species by the IUCN. Due to overfishing, climate change, and other factors, their population has declined by 97%, with only 19,800 penguins remaining in the world.
