Ahmedabad: The Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Ahmedabad City, has issued a notification regarding traffic diversion due to the construction of a new modern railway station and an adjoining bridge at the site of the demolished Kalupur Railway Station.
The redevelopment work, being carried out by Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd., involves girder launching and other construction activities for an elevated road in the section between Pillar No. P24 and P27, located on the road in front of the railway station. Heavy machinery, including cranes, will be used for this work, which is scheduled to continue 24 hours a day from May 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025.
Due to this, vehicular movement will be restricted for approximately 40 meters on the road in front of the railway station between Pillar No. P24 and P27.
Alternative route:
Vehicles coming from Salangpur Circle can proceed via Revdi Bazaar, B.B.C. Market, then turn from Reed Hotel toward Kalupur Ingate and continue toward Kalupur Circle. Similarly, vehicles coming from Kalupur Circle (on the one-way road in front of Kalupur Railway Station) can head toward Salangpur. DeshGujarat
