Ahmedabad: A sudden fire broke out in the parking area of the Venus Atlantis building located in the Prahladnagar area of Ahmedabad. The blaze engulfed several vehicles parked on the premises, causing panic among residents.

According to eyewitnesses, residents of the building attempted to douse the flames using fire extinguishers before the fire brigade arrived. Despite their efforts, around eight vehicles were completely charred due to the intense fire, which sent thick plumes of smoke into the air.

Earlier, a major fire had erupted at a chemical factory in Vatva GIDC. Upon receiving the alert, multiple fire tenders were dispatched to the site to douse the blaze. A video circulating on social media showed thick black smoke billowing from the factory. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
