Western Railways to run Sabarmati – Patna Weekly Special train

Ahmedabad: Western Railway has announced a special summer train service between Sabarmati and Patna to cater to the increased passenger demand during the holiday season. This initiative aims to provide convenient travel options for passengers, particularly those planning trips to and from Bihar.
Train No. 09457, the Sabarmati–Patna Weekly Special, will depart from Sabarmati every Wednesday at 18:10 hrs, starting from June 4, 2025, and will arrive in Patna at 01:30 hrs on Friday.
Conversely, Train No. 09458, the Patna–Sabarmati Weekly Special, will depart from Patna every Friday at 04:30 hrs, commencing from June 6, 2025, and will reach Sabarmati at 14:30 hrs the next day.
The services will run until June 25, 2025 (Sabarmati–Patna) and June 27, 2025 (Patna–Sabarmati), respectively.
The special train will have stoppages at numerous key stations in both directions, including Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Idgah, Tundla, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj Jn., Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur.
The train will comprise Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches, offering comfortable travel options for a range of passengers.
Bookings for Train No. 09457 will open on May 31, 2025, at all PRS Counters and on the IRCTC website. Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance due to the expected high demand for this summer special service. These special trains will run on special fare. DeshGujarat
